I'm Thankful For . . .

Utah Dad and I are always trying to think of ways to save money. A few weeks ago, we had this crazy thought that maybe we should try margarine. It costs way less than butter and it seems like butter just keeps getting more and more expensive. So, we bought some margarine as a test.

Tonight, I went to the store and bought seven pounds of butter.

We'll have to figure out another way to save money.
I'm thankful for butter.
I'm thankful for a grocery store. I'm thankful for a funny little car that smells like a rotten strawberry milk shake from a daddy/daughter date a few weeks ago because it got me to the store and back tonight.

As soon as I read 'margarine' I cringed. That was all we bought early in our marriage. It had me convinced that I couldn't make cookies to save my life. Switching to butter made all the difference.

Margarine is for the birds... Maybe only make half a batch of your chocolate chip cookie recipe then you only have to use 1.5 cups of butter rather than 3... That will help you save $$. Thanks for your help last night:)

I love the little things that we don't realize are so important until we try to change them-for me-it's tissues and toothpaste :o)

I love butter too!! Costco had it a little cheaper this past week. I bought mine there.

Ha Ha, I made muffins last night that didn't turn out and now I am going to blame it on the margarine instead of my lack of attention to the timer. :) Thanks Cindi!

With you all the way!! Plus, I did a report in school on butter vs. margarine. Yes, butter has way more fat, but because of the hydrogen discrepancy, your body doesn't process margarine well. Viva la butter! :)
