Spring Cleaning Book Give-away

You already know I'm a "book hoarder". I like to find pre-read books at thrift stores and at library sales and online. Relatives and friends often give me books that they think I will like. And I often receive books from publishers to review. My book shelves are full! Utah Dad and I have plans to build more, but in the mean time it is essential that I give some away (can you believe it?).



To participate in the Spring Cleaning Give-away Hop, I have gone through my shelves and put together a box of books. One lucky winner will receive this box of literary goodies.

Rules :

1. Enter by leaving one comment on this post. Just for fun--share an estimate of how many books you have in your home. (This number will not be used to determine the winner. It's just for fun.)

2. The contest will be open to entries until Sunday, March 25th at 11:59 pm MST.

3. This contest is open to residents of the US only.

4. The winner will be chosen randomly and announced on Monday, March 26th.

5. Be sure to check out all the other blogs participating in the hop. This is your chance to win a lot of books!

    I'm a little embarrassed to admit it, but when I saw the title of your post, my heart beat a little bit faster for a second. I'm a book addict. Which would explain why I have somewhere between 600 and 700 (not including e-books, or Brent's books).

    Honestly, never counted, but I'm thinking at least somewhere around 300...I don't remember for sure how many books are in boxes, so we'll just say 300 for now (though it's probably closer to 400!) :o)

    My books, probably around 150. The kid's books, probably close to 400. We love to buy books for them at garage sales and the library overstock section.

    I have over 200 on my eReader and I have only had that for 18 months or so. Maybe 800-900 total? I refuse to count.

    Dare I confess that we have thousands of books in our home??? I have an MA in literature, so books have always been dear to me. I've passed that along to our kids. At my house, each bedroom has a couple of large bookcases full of books. They add up pretty fast. That said, we are always looking for new reading material.

    By now I think I have around 500-600. The last time I counted was 3 years ago and I had 400. Looking at my shelves it just doesn't seem like I have that many...LOL

    I have probably around 300 books. I would love more but space and money just don't allow. but I have nearly that amount on my kindle as well (all bought free, even the kindle fire was free lol)

    Thanks for the awesome giveaway! I love surprises :) I have over 600 books on my Kindle alone, and probably around 350 to 400 paper books in my house! That number doesn't include the boxes of books in my mom's basement that I haven't found room for in my house yet! LOL

    Gosh, I don't know.....I'd say more than 600. And I have gotten rid of a lot the last few years. But we still have a lot. Maybe I'll count them next time we move. But I would always love to win more!!

    I don't have nearly the amount of books that I would like....I use the library for pretty much all of my reading. But I do splurge and buy all-time favorites such as Harry Potter and Hunger Games. Thanks for the chance to win. I'd love to own more books!

    Honestly, I don't know how many books I have at my house. I could probably fill a small library. My five year old daughter has several hundred, and I have an epic sci-fi collection. A thousand is a very low estimate.
