I had the privilege of reading a lot of great books this year.
The following list includes the books that I just couldn't stop talking about or thinking about
or in some cases, dreaming about.
They moved me or entertained. Made me laugh or thrilled. Taught me something or fascinated.

I have only read 3 of those books! I better get busy!
ReplyDeleteWe have a couple of overlaps on our lists: Wife, Maid, Mistress and We Are Not Ourselves made my Best Debuts list. I've also heard great things about the Anna Quindlen...my aunt loves her books! I have yet to try her, but would like to.
ReplyDeleteIt's always hard to pick books for the "lists". However, you chose some excellent ones...with some I have not read. I read each review because I just love the way you write! So, I've added Evergreen and The Snow Child, because I haven't read those and am quite curious about them. I've recent enjoyed reading books with a magical/fantasy element to them. Like you, I can't travel. However, books that can transport to another time, place, even new realm, are books I have enjoyed lately. Thanks so much!! xx
