Overheard Conversation

Four year old Thomas explaining to two year old Lilly why she couldn't watch Up yesterday:

"Today is Sunday.
Sunday is the day we go to church.
Church is where we learn about Jesus.
Jesus is God.
God is love.
God is kindness.
God is not fighting, hitting or pinching."

    Well said! My kids would add:

    Sunday is boring.
    It is the day we can't do anything.

    (Though I am working on that and trying to make it a day of "special things we CAN do."
